So, I’m very interested in roleplaying and Tarnished Coast is, from what I’ve heard, the unofficial RP server. I found out, after deleting all my characters in preparation to transfer, that TC is full (I know, I totally should have checked beforehand. Sue me). I also know that it’s not full 24/7. Does anyone know a good time to keep an eye out for the server population to drop? I live near Detroit, Michigan, if that helps any of you smart people with time zones.

Your server actually makes no difference now unless you’re doing WvW, because of megaservers. Just join a TC-based RP guild and you’ll be grouped with your guild more often than not.

Because we can’t be angry about both?

If you want to transfer to TC to do WvW, try checking in the middle of the night (in the US). Since less people are transfering at that time when someone transfers out the spot remains open longer.

If you don’t want to WvW on that server you don’t need to transfer.

Be careful what you ask for
ANet may give it to you.

The weekend is not a good time to transfer to a T1 server. Try late at night during a weekday. Monday or Tuesday at 2-3am PST or something like that.

TCs do run around as dolyak to get slaughtered if u call that roleplaying. But like he said its all mega server now so no point to transfer to any server just for pve.

Oh, sweet. I read something about separated home worlds and only just looked back to see that it was like two years old. I think I’ll just chill on Dragonbrand for now, then. Thanks, friends!
