Guild Wars 2

Hey there,

I know this may be a contentious point, but in the end it comes down to me just wanting to play with my guild. I left the game a couple months ago due to school and had transferred to Anvil Rock (Bad Decision) to play with a friend, from Tarnished Coast. Now I’m back into the game and most my guild is moved to Tarnished Coast and I cannot play with them because I cannot get over to the server. If someone has any tips for getting into the full server it would be wonderful.

Has anyone managed to get into TC in the last week? Is there any way to get into a full server? It is disappointing cause I wanna WvW with my friends but cannot. Any suggestions or help would be really appreciated.

I’ve been lucky enough to be on TC from the beginning. I did have a guildie who accidentally transferred away early on. It took her a week to get back and she did it much as I’ve seen others discuss: Try in the wee hours of the morning (US time). Try on a daily basis. Don’t just keep clicking when you are trying, refresh the page, close and relaunch. Give it a few minutes between attempts as apparently it doesn’t refresh the availability status if you keep poking it.

edit: Also, you can play with them just fine in everything but WvW, so I’m assuming WvW is your interest.

Try when it is not US peak time. I just got a transfer straight to it, but it was at 10am GMT which was 2-5am in the US if I have my maths right.

TC was already a T1 server when I first started, but I had absolutely no problems getting in because I tried around 3pm my time (which would have been 3am EST).

Got on right at 3 a.m. PST so thank you guys for the tip! Time to play some TC <3
