Hello all,
So I got the “Shattered Dragon Wings” chest armor skin from the Dragon Bash Experience achievement. But since my character is only level 29, I haven’t used it yet because I figured I’m going to be switching to new armor pieces as I level. I know I can just use my transmutation stones when I get new armor to keep the wings. But my question is: if you transmute your old armor piece (with the wings on it) with a new armor piece’s stats, won’t that transmutated armor still look like the old armor pieces skin? (not including the wings)
Because I really want to keep the wings on me as I level but I don’t want to also be stuck with the same chest piece skin.

Thanks in advance(:

When you use a Trans-stone, it isn’t automatic. You pick the stats, the skin and rune, if applicable.

Aren’t wings a back item? Nothing to do with chest items, really, so it shouldn’t be a problem. =)

Both sets of wings from the Dragon Bash event are BACK piece covers, not chest piece covers.

If you do not have a back piece to put the cover on you can buy one of the backpack SETS from the Trading Post. The sets come with a white back piece item that is account bound, the cover itself is not bound so you can just sell it on the TP once you use the back piece.

A Transmutation Stone/Crystal is then used to keep the look of the back piece you have applied the cover to.

Ohhhh okay that makes sense. I hadn’t realized that there was even a back piece lol. I just thought it attached to the chest piece.

Thank you very much, I appreciate it(:
