Transmutation Charges
Wow, I hope that’s not the case.
I don’t know. That’s new. And annoying if true.
ANet may give it to you.
I will check this right now, I will complete two cities and post what I got from it. See you soon.
Divinity’s Reach – Seems fine, still got the Transmutations Charge.
Lions Arch – Transmutations Charge.
I checked only these two maps, but it seems fine.

Oh. No. I hope this isn’t true. This is how i get my charges. And I just used 11 yesterday!
My final results:
The Grove – 4 Tomes of Knowledge (pre-patch today, in case anyone was wondering)
Rata Sum – Transmutation Charge (post-patch)
The Citadel – Transmutation Charge
Hoelbrek – Trans Charge
L.A. – Trans Charge
Divinity Reach – Trans Charge
The results aren’t as bad as I’d feared. I’d still rather have the charge than those 4 tomes.

Thanks for checking DavidBG and Feather.

So its just The Grove that gives tomes of knowledge? Huh. That’s… odd. It doesn’t seem like its any easier to get map completion there than anywhere else.
Unless its just RNG or something.
FYI, if you didn’t know, PvP tracks give a kitten load of charges. In all honesty I think they should just get rid of them all together and let players change as many times as they want.

Not as many as they used to. It used to be 4 per track. Now it’s 2 per track.
But yeah. I think they should just drop that idea. There’s too many ways to get free ones. I doubt they’re big gems store purchases.
ANet may give it to you.

@ Electro – My assumption at this point is that it’s now RNG rather than an assured charge. The only other possibility is that it’s an anomaly/bug and won’t be repeated.
@ Magnus – I don’t PvP, but others may find that info helpful, thank you. And I fully agree that unrestricted armor changes (unlocked skins of course) would be a very welcome thing.
