Q:

Has anyone checked to see if the new transmutation splitters work on gem store and event skins? Things like aetherblade or megitech armor, and even skins like the fused gantlets or shattered dragon wings? I kind of really, really, need to know.

(Expected chances of a dev response: 0.0000000000000000000001%)

Edit: Moved from players helping players in the hopes of getting a developer response, as it seems no one in the community actually knows. To those who have offered information, I thank you, but I am not interested in speculation and unproven theories; unless you’ve actually tried it you can’t answer my question.

Why? 800 gems for full 6 piece skin, or 300 per piece to regain the individual piece skin.

Do the math.

Hey dude you are walking into a wall.

Fused gantlets, shattered dragon wings, shell backpack. How many gems do those cost these days? Oh right…..you can’t buy those or otherwise obtain them through any possible means.

You specifically mentioned MAGITECH and AETHERBLADE ARMOR. Now play coy and pretend you didn’t, but there it is…quick better go edit.

I saw someone post that by using the splitter on an item that was “merged” with a skin results in the original item and a low quality item (blue? green?) with the skin.

You would then need to use a transmutation stone or crystal to apply the skin item to a new item.

LOL @ you completely avoiding the point of the post in order to nitpick. Because Aetherblade and Magitech armor will always be available in the store, right?
