You can no longer transmute items from one character to another; it remains soulbound upon transmutation as far as I can tell.

Can people please confirm this?

I’m so sad this changed; I want to delete my character who has the Mad Memoirs: Complete Edition, but I don’t want to lose the book. And now that the transmutation stones have been changed, I can’t give it to anyone else!

I just transmuted a soulbound item to a blue and it is no longer soulbound (just account bound). Still works.

No. Just skins. Stats are stuck to a character once soulbound.

You could try buying one of the cheap backpack sets that comes with an account bound white back item. Never tried it myself though. Just make sure to get the backpack set and not just the cover.

Buy a gem store quaggan backpack. comes with a white backpiece
