At first, sorry for my poor english language.

Dear arenanet,

If i bought skin from gemstore for 700 diamonds (actually ~170 gold), it’s bit shame when i must use transmutation charges for changing skin for this one who i bought. I understand reason when you want transmute “free” item for transmutation charge, but we talking about bought and payed items, who are not costing 1-2 gold.

Please consider change to non consume transmutation charges if i want transmute item from gem store.

When you get the skin you get to choose to apply it to a piece of armor, basically a free transmutation charge, but only once.

I know, that is only once
But what if i have 5 characters who i like playing? ;-)
I hope arenanet read this topic.

It’s been brought up many times in the forums. Whether the concern has hit ANet’s radar and been dismissed, or just lost in the sea of posts, there’s no telling.

I agree with you. Skins I purchase with cash should be free to apply forever on that account. Not that I run out of transmutation charges, and I never directly buy those, but outfits are the main reason I’m not struggling with charges. I’d rather freely mix and match my looks.

I think in Anet’s view even the system how it is now we should feel lucky. Back before the wardrobe system we could only transmute gear that was under lvl 80. We could only do 80 by buying the special version of transmutes from the gem store.

Also when buying an outfit or armour set you could only use it on one char, no such thing as “unlocks” then. If you wanted it on more than 1 char you had to buy it again from the gemstore for the full price.

So once again while I do agree with the OP here, from anet’s view they probably think they have given us too much already….

Maybe if many people replies here, anet should see that … uhmmmm problem…

What problem?
You can get infinite transmutation charges by making a char map completing all the racial citys delete and go again.

I havent farmed any and I havent bought any, I have 12 character who I edit now and then. I play mixed content but mostly PvP recently due to no LS.
