Q:
It was mentioned in an Anet article awhile back that Legendary weapons would be receiving an upgrade in stats to match that of the ascended gear.
So my question is:
Can I use a transmutation stone to change the stats of a legendary now and not be worried of screwing myself over when they get upgraded in the future?
Since they haven’t confirmed yet, assume no.
If it was going to be upgraded when transmuted, they would either have to make it a feature that a legendary skin causes whatever weapon you put it on to turn into a level 80 ascended item or all transmuted legendaries would have to be untransmuted back to their original state as a feature of the patch.
