Hello,

I was wondering if it is possible to transmute a legendary weapon to another character. Someone recently told me that you can but only if you change the name of the previous character who the legendary was soul bounded to (this person also stated that their information might be out of date).

Requires 2 transmutation crystals. No guarantee that in upcoming updates this will allow for “Legendary stat-swapping.”

1.Transmute the legendary to a white weapon, keeping the legendary skin but the white weapon’s stats (this makes it non-soulbound, but account-bound).

2. Deposit the newly transmuted item in the bank.

3. Switch to the other character and retrieve the weapon from the bank.

4. Transmute the item with an exotic of the stats you want, keeping the legendary skin but the exotic stats.
