Hey, so I have spent real money to transmute the skins I like with Exotic stats.
Now with this new blog post I am a bit worried on how this is going to work with the new Ascended armor.

My fear is that if I craft the new Ascended armor it would require a new transmutation stone if I want to pass on a skin.
If this is true, I have spent real money for nothing.
Which is unacceptable.

On the other hand, a possibility is that you could put in the armor (skin) and give it the Ascended stats when you are going to craft it.
If it’s going to work something like this, it would set off a HUGE relief from my shoulders.

I really need an answer.

Live and breath transmutation crystals or you’ll be forever ugly. It’s like the biggest gem store seller. If you want your old skins on the new stats, you’ll need to transmute them.

You don’t know, there hasn’t been anything official at the moment.

Hopefully there is an option to ascend existing exotic gear.

But assuming so what rising dusk said. Would you think a-net would pay out 3 million crystal transmutation stone, because player 1 was “complaining/ asking question” about changing skins? Of course there could be a new design on this armour that we probably would like better then what we currently have. There could also be a new feature that let you choice your skin for the new armor, what do I know. But am 100% sure that a-net would not cash out 18 million crystal transmutation stone. ( assuming 3 million copy of the game from the blog, armor set contain 6 pieces so 3million times 6 equals 18 million)

It could be a mystic forge recipe, you throw in an exotic (level 80 req maybe) with the ascended armor and they get matched. Something like that.
