Guild Wars 2

Really need a clarification on this. If you use a split transmutation stone on your legendary, will it give back the original legendary status and skin so you can then put the stats you want on the legendary as you would if not transmuted. I have Rodgort and transmuted it with apothecary to fit my build since it was the same stats. A lot of work goes into crafting your legendary and I do not want to do something to screw it up, but I also want to be able to have the upgraded stats as befitting the legendary status. Can I get some clarification from an ANET person or someone who has a transmuted legend weapon.

That is the purpose of the new stones.
