Trenchcoats for Light and Heavy armors
Trenchcoats for heavy armor? Lol thats ridiculous. Everyone knows that only skirts provide enough armor for this.
How do I get my suggestion to the design team?
Post your suggestion on the forum, and then wait and hope in vain. For the last 4 plus years medium armor has been asking for fewer trenchcoats and all have been asking for armor without buttcapes, without noticeable success.

If you want more trenchcoats on a heavy armor class you can only use outfits.
Because with the outfit system it somehow doesn’t matter anymore if your armor class is easily identified, which was always the reason behind the overall designs of the armors we get.
We can all just pray that with the new expansion we will break away from this design decision.

This argument of their’s for real doesn’t make sense. Easy identification of class by armor is irrelevant in PvE. In sPvP and WvW, do people actually do that? I always look at nameplates to see what they are. I’m certainly not going to be checking out the armor (and only get the information light, heavy or medium) while a hostile is running towards me.
And then they put outfits in the game where the looks cross armor weight barriers….

Especially if there’s under-boob. The more under-boob it shows, the more defense it provides.
