Dear dev team,
I have tons of friends who are very intrested about playing GW2, but they won’t spent 40 euros just after watching youtube gameplays. They need to test the game themselves. They are asking me all the time “is there any trial?”, “how can I test this game?”. My answer is always the same: “you have to wait for the trial time”. And they are waiting for too long now.

This is very very bad that you don’t have any pernament trial, ex. free playing till level 10. Or free weekend once every two weeks. I’m sure this would increase player population in Tyria, and also – I would play more GW2, too, as I would have a lot of my friends here!

If you can’t do anything to improve your trial situation please just advise us when can we expect some free weekend. 4 of my friends are waiting now!

I would be very surprised if they didn’t bring another free weekend trial sometime after the April 15th patch is in. Probably not right away, as they are most likely expecting a surge of returning players and need time to iron out any problems in that update – which are bound to be many in such a massive patch.

They don’t have trials very often (only 3x since the game launched iirc) but your friends can sign up for the official newsletter to be informed when one is coming if they are interested.
