Guild Wars 2

I have been playing this game since the first open Beta and have fallen in love with it. I tell everyone the pros and cons to the game, or at least my list. A number of them cannot either buy the game right now or are not sure if they want to, but they always ask me one thing…do they have a trial version for people to test out. I sadly have to say no to them….So really my question is…at some point in the future is that going to be a possibility? I have a laundry list of people that are so eager to try it out.

I wish they had trials but since it’s only a month, maybe by the end of the year. I used my friends account and downloaded the game to see if I could even play/liked it, then my other friend bought me the game via digital buy. xD I’m sure they will, GW1 has a trial why not here?

I can very much understand that right now they have bigger things to deal with then setting up a trial version. But I hope it is something they are at least looking at doing in the near future.

They do NOT need a trial “version”. The last thing we need is free bot accounts, freen gold spam accounts.

Monthly play is FREE. Pony up the $60 for the game and get over the welfare mentality. That’s just my opinion on the whole Trial thing, that may work for and be needed by the monthly fee games, but totally unnecessary for this game.

I’m sure there will be one in the future but right now it is not the right time.

For those of you complaining about free bot/spam accounts… you DO know Trials usually have restrictions to prevent botters/gold sellers from abusing them, right? Such as communication limitations, and inability to trade or use the Auction House?

I agree with introducing trials, but right now I’m sure ArenaNet has a rather long list of bugs and fixes they need to implement first.
