This armor, Alongside a few others have been removed from the game for ages now.
There really is no need to have armors in the game that are discontinued for no reason.

I was one of the people who managed to obtain tribal armor before the PvP/Wardrobe
patch. Sadly it never got added to my wardrobe for whatever reason. I figured it would come back as a reward track, That however seems to not be the case.

Recently i submitted a support ticket but had no luck with that sadly. Probably due to the way that patch removed PvP Gear completely and the fact that it was so long ago.
They also said there was no Wolf PvP chests found on my account at any point so they couldn’t replace it. Which is basically impossible when i actually passed wolf and was in the middle of tiger when the patch hit, If i remember correctly you got them both for leveling up and playing games.

All i can do now is attempt to get Arenanet to return it to the game via a reward track, I’m sure there’s other people out there who have wanted to get their hands on this armor too.

I remember reading a red post that they were going to bring it (and the other missing skins) back with HoT.

Tribal Armour among others are already made and in the game files. Therefore they take less work as they don’t need artists.

This is a completely different topic to what you’re ranting about. Lack of new armours deserves it’s own thread.

BAHAHA! New armor? A-net and new armor? Saw the pitifull amount in the expansion? Well.. do you think they would just casually start making new armors now after they already got our money? Dont expect any new armors till the next x-pac…if even then.

Im actually fully for atleast giving people the old sets…so there is atleast something there

Past rewards should stay past rewards or as time gated as legendary crafting is.
Luckily they only do outfits now in gem store bc anet said they wont release new armors in gem store anymore.

You could only get the armor at a certain rank, once you were no longer that certain rank, you could no longer get the armor & getting the armor was random. But leave it to anet to give handouts to all the people begging.

They weren’t “past rewards”, they just fell through the cracks when they implemented the wardrobe (Stalwart, Apostle, Heavy Scale, and Marauder are partially available in PVE, for example). There’s literally no reason not to make them properly available beyond making a bunch of horrible people sad that other people can have a thing they already have.

Obtaining the armor was a kitten to begin with since it was random, and you only had a set number of tokens to craft it with so you mightve gotten it or maybe not
Do I have it? Yes
Do I want it brought back? no, people only want it for cosmetic reasons and to be in with the veteran PvPers who actually received the armor along with the complainers saying that “it’s not fair that I didn’t get it waaahhh!”’
It’s not that only horrible people want it back but it’s the fact that if it IS brought back it’d be too easy to obtain through reward tracks – it needs to be made difficult to get like it was in the past.

Ya, bring it back via some in-game means. Those that have had the set for so long had plenty of time to walk down runways to show it off by now. No reason to leave it languish in the data files, especially as there’s a fair amount of available weaponry that can be paired up with it for a different sort of style.

Plus, SnowHawk will blow a gasket, which would be pure icing.

“To be in with the veteran PvPers…” Ha! Indeed.

In all honesty, I’m surprised they didn’t bring the no longer accessible due to being PvP only skins back.

Tribal and Apostate for light.
Stalwart and Maurader for medium.
Heavy scale for heavy.

HoT was the perfect time to add them…

And let’s not forget about the three guild armor sets, even though we can still get the chest and the rest are rescaled of another set. I would love for the other pieces to be added to the guild armorer…
