Trying to get this vista for zone completion (Straits of Devastation) and just couldn’t do it. So I look it up on youtube, and every video I see has them jumping onto fungus steps that aren’t there as far as I can see.

Did they get removed? Do they only exist at certain times? Has anyone succeeded in doing this vista recently?

I did Straits of Devastation map completion a few days ago. If this is the tower on one of the islands, climb as far as you can, jump to the tree, climb the branch, then jump to the fungus steps. I fell off the tree branch a couple times before I made the jump.

No, this is the one S-SW of Rally Waypoint, you can see it from the Pact Rally POI. According to the videos you start on the rocks on the west side, then go south onto the fungus which isn’t there for me. I tried the tree on the north, but it seems to be a dead end.

I suspect you are thinking of the Vizier’s Tower vista, which I completed early in my exploration.

You’re right on Vizier’s tower. Since I got map completion I will WP over and see if I remember how I did it. Got a few things to take care of before I can go play.

OK, I am standing at the vista now so you can get there. You need to jump to the small rock formation first and then jump across the gap. You don’t get a run at it but it works. The small rock formation looks like it is impossible to climb but it isn’t that difficult if you just try a few times. After you jump the gap you will find the fungus growth steps but it really is easy once you are across the gap. Now to see if the risen have any presents for me. Happy Winter’s Day.

There are no fungus steps for me either

Edit: So the steps are still there; just invisible. Try finding and image/video to see where they’re at, and with a few leaps of faith and some luck you’ll get to the vista.

The fungus will appear if you change your environment settings under graphics to high instead of low.

Shouldnt have to adjust from low setting to see structural environment. Lame.

Just did this today, couldn’t see fungus either, made some leaps of faith
