Trying To Play With My Friend - Server Full
The server is full.. that’s what kind of crap it is… It’ll eventually become a “high” populated server and he’ll be able to join.
Once some people log off, he will be able to join you.
And of course there’s no ETA on when this might happen, and he’s stuck being unable to play with us.
What an absolutely stupid system… Why pay $60 to have your place among friends denied because of a server reaching its cap? There certainly isnt that many actively logged in.

I guess we’ll have to hope for this then, assuming it’s correct.
There are plenty of servers and server transfers are still free so moving to less populated one might be good idea.
Yes, it is correct.

Nobody mentioned guesting? Not that it’s a solution to your problem now, but it is something to look forward to.
Doing what I can for DB during EU primetime
Guesting is not implemented yet.

Could you direct me towards finding where to do transfers?
On the character selection screen hit the button on the bottom left, I think it’s “World Selection”, or something like that.

Careful, Eviator… all I said was “wow” and I got modded.

Good point. Edited. A lot of flaming (e.g. “you don’t know what you’re talking about so why are you even responding”) goes unchecked, so it’s hard to know the limits.

Found it, thanks.
Let your friend know to check in during “off peak” hours of the server they wanna go to. The Full status will change downwards as people log off, and then they can transfer to your homeworld. Best of luck to them!
don’t worry. Real life is always open,, U can play with him there. ^^
Most NA servers are full… of bots!

Took my 2 friends 5 hours of camping the world selection screen to get onto my server. From 1am to 6am, pacific time.
One got in about 3 hours in, but in the 30 seconds it took the other to get to world selection it had gone back up to full. We saw it drop to high 4 times, and each time it went back to full in less than a minute. Are there that many people doing the same thing?
I’ve got the same issue. I just bought the game to play with friends on Dragonbrand. But it’s been 2 days now that I’ve been checking and it’s always full. I’ve checked at night and during the middle of the day (noon-2pm). I guess that the only option is to pull an all nighter staring at the world selection screen and hoping that it drops to High long enough for you to get it?
That’s pretty ridiculous.
Splaktar, that is, unfortunately, the result of the game being successful.
The only advice I can give to those trying to get onto a particular server is to keep checking the server population levels.
On my server, Tarnished Coast, we have a third party roleplaying site that keeps track of the population levels to assist people to coming to that server. This may be useful to you since Tarnished Coast is a North American server so it may have similar online population patterns as other NA servers (or not, I dunno, I haven’t looked into it.)
Hopefully it’ll help:

Hello everyone.
Thanks for all your contributions in this topic.
In the future we will implement the guesting feature, which will speed up of course the on-line meetings between you and your friends scattered in different servers. We will keep you updated about this through the official channels.
