Tsuru Whitewing - theories
And since “Tsuru” is Japanese for “crane”, we will also see Cantha, yeah.

A lot of the Tengu migrated from Cantha so it’s unlikely that we’ll see Cantha, it’s still wishful thinking at this point.
WHY does everyone think that tengu = Cantha?!?!!?
There were already 2 tengu tribes on Tyria before GW:Factions was released.
And one more tribe came with EotN, that has NOTHING to do with Cantha.
Even if tengu is from the eastern mythology …. they are not from Cantha!!!

Or Japanese for “to hang”, so maybe it’s a subliminal message to say what our hopes regarding Cantha can do :-P (I must be wrong haha) And it also means “bowstring”, so it might mean they have more than one string to their bow :-D

Yup, but it sounds fishy and the original message was mostly sarcasm anyway

My bad then
Son of Elonia.
It could just be that someone at Anet likes that word and wanted to use it. Or am I the only one who names characters that way?
“Life’s a journey, not a destination.”

They are professionals!
“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”
“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”

Because Cantha is where we first saw the friendly tengu? Both the Caromi and the Avicara were 100% hostile, as well as the Quetzal. Whereas we had the Angchu who were friendly (also the Sensali, but they were jerks) and were driven out of Cantha by the Ministry of Purity. It would only lead me to assume that they would want to go back home at some point, just like the Charr wanted Ascalon back.
