So far they’ve been every other Tuesday except for the times they weren’t every other Tuesday but either skipped a Tuesday or didn’t skip a Tuesday but was the following Tuesday in which case the Tuesday following the Tuesday that was or was not skipped then became the new every other Tuesday.

Depends if the assets are in the game client or not. In the case of the butterfly wings (since you can link it in-game) yeah a download wouldn’t be necessary.

Right, which was where I was going with it, given the topic was about the wings.

Given how the cadence has usually worked, it’s likely they load 2-3 weeks of gemstore items in during each patch as needed.

That’s a bit ridiculous, because last week the butterfly wings were actually in the game, then they had an update and removed them from being able to preview.

Its not the first time we didn’t get something in the gemstore right after it was datamined. Look at how long it took them to get the exalted (i think that’s the one that looks similar to Anise’s attire) into the store after that_shaman found it.

Perhaps I have become too accustomed to Dulfy finding things early by about a week most of the time, such as the dragon and lion mask that came out the following tuesday after datamined.. I was really looking forward to getting the skin today, Dulfy did make a reply saying in the comments that it was on july 14th but I guess nobody knows for sure?

Only Anet knows for certain, and they sure aren’t going to tell us.

But yes, there are have been lots of things datamined previously that took more than a few weeks before appearing in the gemstore, or even not appearing at all. Those two scenarios are less frequent now than they used to be, but still occur on occasion.

Edit: And of course, there is always the possibility that it was intended to come out today and something glitched too. Isn’t technology fun?

No, not random.There’s this dart board with dates on sticky paper stuck to it and a blindfolded 3 year old involved in the calculations, but otherwise it’s every other Tuesday. (Except when it’s not).

Awww…I eagerly await those, as well!

We’re barely getting any updates these days :-/ Would be nice to get some sort of Pavillion event thing going (and staying) at least until HoT is ready, as other players have suggested in other threads.

As it is, I’ve been waiting for the scraps of information and we’re barely getting those now… this is making me slightly worried about the future of GW2.

Anet, I know you guys are busy with HoT, but PLEASE give us something permanent to do in the meantime (like bringing back the Pavillion or Dragon Bash or Bazaar of the four winds or SOMETHING). It would do wonders for everyone. There’s only so many characters I can get 100% world map completion on before wanting to pull my hair out and wanting to bang my head against a brick wall.

I’ll continue to get world completion on some of my characters (currently working on my warrior) until HoT is out or we get something new to do in game, but I must say I’m slightly peeved off :-(

Datamined info can’t be reliably given a time window for release. For example Balthazar’s Regalia got datamined almost two months before it was released for purchase.

Wait… Is that actually what is going to be in the game?

Y’know, that might be the first outfit I don’t get. Though I have noted in previous instances that Dulfy’s dye choices do well to illustrate the channels and the outfit details but don’t necessarily make the outfit look its best.

I’ll have to fiddle with dye previews a bit before I decide whether to spend gems on it. Because I can’t really see any of my alts ICly wearing that. Except the put-upon semi-bodyguard who has to dress how his employers make him … he’s my excuse for keeping a complete Outfits collection. I was doing complete mail carriers but haven’t quite made myself get the quaggan yet.
