I know there’s alot of stuff about eternity glitching but somewhere in the fact that it is the most expensive weapon in GW2 gets me going… but friends of mine have given me good ideas as well such as use twilight or sunrise as a stacking weapon in WvW and use the other when maxed.
I’m just curious about your opinions. Craft Eternity or keep the two seperate?
I’m currently 50% of the way through gift of fortune and that’s w/o dusk. When i saw the thread about a guy who got 4 dusks and a dawn I kitten near cried…
keep two separate, actually unique weapons with matching effects(auras,footprints,main weapon)
Instead of the poorly designed eternity, which can’t hold a candle against two of them. PROS:
you change them whenever you want
unique design in each of them
can transfer one of them to other character if needed
can use 4 different sigils(not changing each time you need), can cover in case needed
in case you are not satisfied with 2 of them, you can easily change them into eternity in the future(the opposite is not possible)
CONS:
nope, nothing here.
plus, you if something in the future ruins eternity, you will have made a great mistake.
Sunrise and twilight tough had a great design from the beginning and i highly doubt they will change, you don’t risk losing a legendary.
Plus if you like “somewhere in the fact that it is the most expensive weapon in GW2 gets me going” then having both separate is worth more than combining them.
Currently Eternity is 4,899g while both twilight and sunrise comes to a total of 5,890g, that’s 991g less for eternity.
You get more flexibility keeping them separate. Do as you please though, it is, after all, your gold.
OHH yeah there is something to be said about seeing those two weapons being quickly swapped while it’s on someones back, or hand. Seeing sunrise, then twilight would be the most amazing disco ball you’ve ever seen
Keep them separate. Although nothing screams “I’m an idiot and wasted a legendary” quite like Eternity. Also you can equip 2 chars with legendaries unless you need to the attention of linking 2 legendaries in map chat. And finally, the cost of Eternity is only the price of the stuff to combine the 2 other legendaries more(the dust and whatever else). So really it’s a moot point when you are holding 2 legendaries.

Why do you hate versatility? Why only have one weapon with one sigil set (and/or stat distribution), when you could be prepared for more situations by having two weapons with two distinct sigil sets (and/or stat distributions)?
Do you like only carrying one weapon? I dont understand people. I rapidly flash my Twilight/Sunrise auras on weapon change like a super saiyan aura, and every time, some fool says, “WHY NOT MAKE ETERNITY LEL xD?”
And when I ping them both, so they can see, they still don’t even see. Makes no sense to me.
As long as they don’t implement a " switch " feature for Eternity there is no reason for you to make it.
Keep the two weapons – have fun with both – why take the choice of whichever one you want to wear out of your hands?!
If here they fall they shall live on when ever you cry “For Ascalon!”
Keep them seprate, as your friends stated, use different Sigils on them that would fit different situations, they will be more flexible with 2 sigils for 2 handers on the next patch.
Something like putting a Sigil of the Night + Force on Twilight and use it during night time(specially dungeons/fractals where most content are night time) for that 15% damage bonus or Putting Restoration+Stamina sigil on your Sunrise for WvW zerging.
As for stacking bloodlust just go with a random exotic weapon, it doesn’t take long to full stack anyway lol.
