I did Grawnk last year. This year the two achievements already show as completed so I can’t do them for this year. That reduces my choices for what I can do to complete the meta. I suck at JPs so that means if I want to complete ‘A Very Merry Wintersday’ this year I have to do 10K drinks and 2.5k Candy. That means an unreasonably massive grind or unreasonably massive gold expense. Achievements that can’t be achieved should not be part of a meta.

All achievements for a holiday meta should be doable.
The candy and drinks achievements for the meta should be a lot less for the meta part. For example, completing tier 3 gives you a point for the meta but you still need the full 10K drinks for Winter’s Presence.

You don’t need to do either the candy, nor the drinks for the meta. You don’t need the candy for the skin either. I got 2.5K drinks done by the end of the first week. I slacked a lot the second week, but 2.5k times 4 equals 10k. Which means that achievement is completely doable without buying drinks, just by playing the game.

You can do infinite achievements aswell, complete them once and they count.

you mean the meta achivment right ? you can do one (or more) of the achivments that are endlessly repetable, that counts toward the meta, i for example did the bell choir ensemble, 30 times bell choir is much easier then drinking 10k

I’ve already done Toypocalypse Survivor. I thought in the past the repeatable ones didn’t count for the meta. If they do now that makes this a lot more reasonable.

Kal Spiro, you must have a lot more free time than I do. 2.5k drinks would be over 3k gifts, or over 12 stacks. I’ve farmed less than 2 stacks total so far. Am I missing something?

The repeatable achievements don’t normally count, but they do this year. Each one only counts once, though. They won’t get a visible checkmark next to them on the list, but they’ll apply towards your total.

Now, that said, I think practicing the Winter Wonderland puzzle to get both the 3 completion and 15 completion achievements in it would be better than doing 30 Snowball Mayhem games…

You can buy 2500 candy canes for about 48G.

If you want that achievement, don’t buy Candy Canes, buy the cheaper Wintersday foods. They count too, and can be had for about two thirds the price.

Any of the peppermint food from wintersday drops count toward the candy. If you buy items from the TP for orphans (around 15 silver), wrap and deliver to all 30 of them on Dulfy’s map, which can be done in 15-20 minutes, using each of the karma buffs from wintersday (previous day’s orphan’s reward (Winter’s Blessing), peppermint candy (lasts a minute each but stack), peppermint food and either the oil or icicle, you get back enough karma to buy 100 presents with karma.

100 gifts will give you 80-90 drinks and a lot of candy canes (more than the 15 I used). Every daily gives an extra present. There are three trees that give a present and presents are farmable via the winterday’s events (JP, bells, etc). Then there’s the big presents in the open world full of skritts that drop several presents.

As for the Meta Festival achievement, you only need 18 of 23. The shoulder piece needs 5 of the achievements including the drinking one, but the drinking one is active all year.
