Pistol Whip was never OP. It did less damage then 100b. In fact you needed 3 pistol whips to do same damage in 100b.

PW is used for PVE. You just screwed thiefs in pve with this nerf.

All PW needed was remove stun compontent. Now try backstab. That needs nerf.

Unlike bad players who die to PW, Backstab has absotely no counter. While you are busy you just get 15k backstab on your kitten from a stealthed thief.

Reverse PW Damage, Remove stun compontent from PW and nerf Backstab

Pistol Whip nerf was not about PVP, as it roots the thief while he does the 3 attacks and it was so easy to just ‘walk away’ in PVP. Just like the nerf to guardians, it was a PVE nerf. Most thief’s where levelling by just spamming Pistol Whip, so they nerfed it to force thief’s to use more then one key.

As for backstab, yes it can hit for 15k from invis (vs a caster), but that thief will be 100% glass cannon build and that is what the thief build is all about, get in close, hit hard and hope you crit and they die cause if they don’t your dead.

I’m still enjoying my beloved thief in PvE, even with the heart seeker nerf, death blossom nerf and this recent pistol whip nerf.

But then, I don’t depend on one skill alone when I play.

Can my 100b give me evasion like PW does? Since everybody likes to compare the two, would love to have that feature on my warrior.
