Tybalt is finally getting the credit he deserves returning as a new Mist Champion! This makes me very happy. I now get to once again fight along side my old four-legged friend once more in the PvP stronghold arena. Now I’m sure he’s probably not the greatest, or the most tactical, but ….it’s TYBALT!

If you haven’t done the story line for the Whispers story I encourage you to make a character to do so. It was such a good story, and I immediately fell in love with his character. This post is very pointless, I just had to share my excitement! I’m 75% don’t with his reward tract and out of all the luck in the world , the black lion key I got from his reward track gave me an Elite Tybalt skin!! I knew it was ment to be! His stats are pretty similar to Grymm so like I mentioned he’s probably not the best one…but honestly I don’t even care!

Can’t believe Tybalt get all the credit when a champion and scholar [what’s their name?] also died, but no one cares.

Tybalt isnt bad and should be first pick vs a condi team and he is the only ranged champ.
Lucky for you, he’s actually good.

The other mentors are Forgal and Sieran. I’d like to see them in as well.

I have more love for Forgal, but it’s probably because I joined the Vigil first…
Still, good to hear the Apple Cult getting their lord and master to assist them. I await the son of the last Dolyak Shaman.

Does anyone even play that mist thing? Kinda seems like a waste, they could’ve done so much with tybalt but they just dropped his player model in pvp and called it a day :x

Sieran was 100x better than Tybalt. He was a fun goof but I really liked her, she made the story so much more entertaining. I’d buy the hell out of a mini/mist champ/etc of her.

As likeable as Tybalt is, I feel he is kinda overrated. But whatevs, people love him and thats okay.
Just a bit sad that Sieran and Forgal doesn’t get a lot of love too :/
Personally I loved Sieran the most.

Tybalt was a comic relief and generally you don’t kill your comic relief, ever.

Tolkien didn’t kill Pippin.
Martin hasn’t killed Tyrion (yet).
Weiss&Hickman didn’t kill Tasslehoff.

Lucas didn’t kill Jar Jar Binks

Forgal has one of my favorite lines in the game. Just before you enter the sewers with him he says, this place smells like a norn ale house on curry night. lol

Same. Now if only they’d bring Forgal back. Felt more of an attachment to him than Tybalt…

Thank you all for your replies!! I love hearing what you guys think! I just wanna say I didn’t mean to take the light away from the other two characters though, I’m sorry if it came off that way. Its just Whispers was the first quest I ever did so I grew very fond of Tybalt, I love the other two characters as well, and I feel like one day they’ll have their day to shine in the bright lights! I kind of look at it as Pokemon games, first one I ever played was red for the game boy so from,there on out there was never another pokemon game that hit me like that one did! Though the game is old news and there is clearly much better ones, it’s more of the sentimental value I love an out Red.but I digress, I dont want to sound like the typical “tybalt fanboy” I just love his character because he was the one that was with me,when I first started gw2, so he holds a special place! Yes I’m sure he is over rated and some people go crazy over his character, I just simply like him over the others because I liked him first, kinda like my live for my first girlfriend. Actually …no I hate that women….screw her… I’d you’re reading this I HATE YOU JESSICA! I hope he treats you like crap!!!! …..uhm….anyways… I love Tybalt not because it’s what everyone else is doing, but simply….first come,first serve!

I don’t blame others for prefering Tybalt.
You like what you like, sometimes it is the same as what most love and at other times it is one of those that can seem more overlooked by the majority.

I love the ever so overrated charizard and I don’t care that it is.

And yes nostalgia and “the first” have a remarkable effect on whats to like
