LOl. That’s one of the reasons why I no longer like that game.

Am I the only one a little aggravated that we can’t glide in the old maps? I can’t help feeling like it wouldn’t really hurt anything, beyond maybe making a few jumping puzzles slightly less annoying.

I can see how there might be too many problems with people breaking out of the maps, but maybe a parachute for that area. Jump off a high place and parachute down with little or no lateral movement.
ANet may give it to you.

I’m with you. I hope it happens and honestly I can’t imagine why they wouldn’t eventually.
Give people a little, and they want much more.
I too would like to see it eventually integrated into the older maps/areas, but imagine how many people who haven’t yet bought the expansion would react if those of us who did flew around everywhere.
Plus, recalling another post the other day, they’d still have to find out how to disable gliding for JPs and edges of the map and so forth.

Ideally it would be similar to dealing with when you can swim towards the edge of a zone (i.e. South Sun Cove) where it says “You’ve hit a strong current….”
yep, edges of the map just like in water, and for the JPs, I say you just don’t worry about them. Who really cares if it makes a few of them easier, they’re just AP fodder anyway.

Not everyone shares your opinion. I for one don’t do JPs for AP, but because I really like them. I have done the same JPs multiple times not for the rewards but for the excitement they give me.
