REALLY GW2. is the updated that important to have a WvW update at 6:00 pm server time ? What is up with that. Why not at 2am or something.

It’s 2 am here. Don’t forget that there’s both American and European servers, meaning that the update will be inconvenient for someone no matter when it takes place.

Even if that’s the case, wouldn’t ~11 pm PST have been better? 6pm is prime time on US West, and I don’t think too many people are on at 7 AM, either.

They fix bugs when they fix bugs. Every month there is Patch Day and for a day or two after that there are bug fixes several times a day. One happened when I was busy killing a dragon, another happened 30 seconds after I finished off a dragon. Both were midafternoon.

Somewhere, at any time of day or night, someone is busy with something. There is never a “good” time for the game to restart, they are going to do it when the fix is ready. They aren’t going to call you to make sure it’s okay first.

Is it really that big of a deal? in ANY other MMO on the market this patch would have meant 2-10 hours of downtime… you had to restart the client which took what? 2 minutes?

Hey, how about fixing the UI for us triple monitor (AMD Eyefinity) users while you are pushing out patches. Or do you really not care about those of us who can no longer play the game the way we could prior to the big patch?

how about you unplug 2 of your monitors until the fix comes?
