Guild Wars 2

Back when I used to play GW2, TC was the unofficial RP server for the US. I’m currently on a WvW centric EU server and was wondering, with the mega-server concept that GW2 has now, do is really matter what US server I transfer too? All the primary ones where I have friends on are all full and have been that way for ages.

It doesn’t really matter outside of WvW what server you choose inside of a data group (EU or NA). The Megaservers try to group people together on shards and server is only on of the things it considers. Even if you land on another shard from someone else, unless it’s a capped map you should be able to party up and taxi over to the shard they are on.

As JAFW said, it doesn’t matter except for WvW what you choose. However, to increase your chances of getting into an ‘RP Shard’ – you might benefit from adding as many people who are native to Tarnished Coast as you can, as well as joining an RP specific guild.
