I ask because the button scheme seems it might be able to use a controller over a mouse and keyboard. I’m curious to know if Anet ever gave us this option.

What’s trying to be said is that you can use a controller, but there’s no official suppport. You will have to use a key remapping software like xpadder to map certain keys and clicks to various controller buttons.

It might be a playable experience in action camera mode, but I’ve never tried it myself. Typically I always prefer a mouse and keyboard unless a game is designed with gamepad input in mind.

I personally use JoyToKEy, since XPadder has some compatibility issues with Windows 10. But it’s very possible, especially if you use action camera.
