Using headsets in GW2
GW2 does not have any in-game voice chat like EQ2. You’ll need to use vent or ts.
Hey, you’re gonna need to use a 3rd party voice program – such as Skype
Steam also has a built-in voice chat functionality too.
Assuming you’re using Skype – you would start the call with your friend, then launch Guild Wars 2.
You may want to turn the music/sound down in-game so that you can hear the other person.
Hope this helps!
Hello,
My BFF & I
Your big fat friend? That’s not a very nice thing to say about someone you want to game with.
depending on the server you play on, most if all have TS channels for use. Ask around especially in wvw and you can get that invo and use a non wvw channel and chat away while you do what you like.
If your on Bg give me a pm and I will get one of our HR guys to help you out.
I am assuming your not in a big guild
Mumble is also an excellent chat program. On any of them you’d need to buy a server/account or else have someone let you use their server.
Badmoon, if it just you and a friend or 3, I’d suggest, like darkdomino did, using Skype, which you can download for free. Otherwise, Vent, TeamSpeak, or Mumble would be the way to go. Many guilds already have a server for one of those, and you would just need to download (the free) client.

You shalt stop doing that of which we do not speak on these forums.
Yahoo has VOIP, as well as Skype, and so does PalTalk. All are free, and pretty easy to use.
if its just you and friend just go with skype since its free. I believe c3 is free as well, though I find skype just way easier.
