I don’t know what happened with the update, but the delay and dc has just made this unplayable for me. It was fine 1 day ago, so this is not a hardware issue. Back to other games.
Ever think its your IP? Do a tracert to see where its failing?
That sucks (I know), but I have to say that GW2 connection has been rock-solid for me since launch, so it might indeed be an ISP problem.
