Guild Wars 2

At times i cant help myself and use my mouse to click certain skills because i only have so many fingers and key’s i can reach resulting in me pinging my skills in teamchat and locking me out of combat.
Shift is “The Key” most players use for direct action skills or movement etc.
(Think of any other game..) Pinkeyshift

I would really love to be able to assign the shift’s function to another key so i wont end up chatting and spamming the famous asddwdwsdasdwdasdawwawww22221331133312daddaawww32474311111wadsdadawda while in combat ^^

You can use ctrl + 1/2/3/4 etc. I think

I’ve learned to spread my hand out over my keyboard while mashing wasd at the same time for massive zerg fights in wvw. Except for my elite skill though, that’s just way too far away

Reverence, you could secondary bind keys 7→0 down to the z→v keys. Makes it a bit easier to fire off those skills.

I have mine bound to dodge. Of course now every time I want to link a wp in chat I do a backflip first.

You could also use a program to rebind keys like shift, control , chapslock, … These programs wont pass the primary key and only let the game know the key you bond to it instead. Eg the game wont even know you pressed shift…
