is it possible to unbound a legendary from a character.
back in dec/jan I farmed Cof non stop to finish my bolt finished it but after completing it I felt somewhat a remorse of it now.
it has forced me into use sword only kinda of deal as well as it still being somewhat broken after an attack it leaves a second bolt overlapping or if you swap weapons fast enough you can see it floating in the air.

I was hoping after a month or 2 break from gw2 they would of fixed it but they haven’t.
I come back to the game few weeks ago and think why did I ever bother going for bolt I should of probably sold it but it was my first legendary it was cool to finally get it but now its stopping me from trying other weapons/builds on my guardian.

you can only make it account bound and transmute it to another char but you cant sell it anymore…

how would I do that I’ve always heard about that stuff for like the starter items and I do happen to have a thief who mains sword.

You get a white/blue sword, and then transmute the legendary to it, since white/blue items are not soul bound, you will be able to place it on bank and switch in between characters, and then you simply transmute it back into an exotic on the character you want ( thief )

I haven’t done it with a legendary myself so I’m not sure, if you do this. you might lose the purple text/legendary status and keep the skin. but like i said. i’m not 100% sure.
