Is there a way to tell if the Cathedral of Glorious Victory is uncontested in other servers? I am trying to buy some shards but in my server its NEVER uncontested anymore. If anyone reads this, let me know if your server is uncontested. I would greatly appreciate it!!!

Look for a dark blue circle — right now it looks like only TC has it open in the US — and no servers have it open in the EU.

I use this site to check temple staus. Sad that usually only EU servers seems to do them with any regularity when I check though.

I have this same question — can’t seem to find an Uncontested Cathedral of Glorious Victory. However, the site posted previously on this thread doesn’t seem to work (or is it just me?). I was wondering if anyone has an updated version of the site or something similar, where I can look up servers with uncontested areas?

Since they updated the game to have megaservers those sites no longer work for the temples if i recall correctly. You are going to have to just keep popping in and out of the maps i suppose till you find one. Sorry!

It might be simply best to wait few hours from now, when more people are online, and organize a call to arms for it. You can of course try now too, but the mornings are kinda dead and not many healers / support players roam around to keep the NPCs at the last stage alive.

Extra tip: For OBI shards, you can go on a treasure chest farm in the silverwastes too. they drop as loot and also you can buy those with bandit crests

I’ve got 3 shards in the past 3 days from there My RNG isn’t fun at all. It’s sometimes quicker to do the karma/laurel way, imho…
Mind you I don’t dedicate more than an hour or two a day to Silverwastes, I just don’t like that map. Or Dry Top.

If you’re doing the SW events/breach you’ll get enough Bandit Crests to get your shards quickly, even if you don’t get lucky and get them from bandit chests or the labyrinth.

He told he doesn’t like to farm in SW. Also some people have a kittenload of karma and want to spend it for shards. So here’s the way you do it: open the LFG tool and post in world events or what it’s called that you are looking for an uncontested Balthazar WP. Sometimes you’ll find already a post of someone who invites people with an uncontested WP.
