Can anyone check which server it is uncontested on? Been trying for a couple of days, and it seems most servers aren’t bothering any time soon

Anet could put a event chests in the temples. But it could only be opened under certain conditions.

There’s a thread for this in the “Players helping players” section.

But Tarnished Coast’s Balthazar Temple is open at the moment. Might close again fairly soon though.
