Undead is Dead
The mad king boss seemed more epic than zhaitan
They not zombies. zombies move slow.
I did feel like there was way too much focus on undead. Yes, the first main boss is undead, but I still thought there was just too much undead.
I do hope the next expansion has nothing to do with undead.
You fight more undead once you reach Elona duh!
We will likely be seeing an entirely different theme when we go up against another elder dragon who will most likely be featured in future expansions.
Crystalline minions and destroyers to name a few, zhaitan’s undead horde was just the beginning.
From what I have seen and read, I believe that all dragons have some form of undead as their minions. If this is true then we are in for a long haul.
And in a twist, in was Lich King that sort of burned me on undead.
Jormag has followers, who are not dead, just corrupted or just fanatics like Sons of Svanir.
Levelling a human was basically slaying centaurs + undead from 1-80.
best statistical loot in the game. We want everyone on equal power base.”
the guild wars are several hundreds of years in the past and there are quite a few more dragons to go. I am not a lore dictator, but before putting up threads one could really invest a minute googling.
It’s how the undead theme is pulled off that matters. Take Nightmare Before Christmas: You had a happy, carefree village of undead who weren’t obsessed with hurting living people, eating brains, etc., so it was a new take on an existing theme. Likewise, as much as we hate Twilight that series had sparkling vampires that added to the modern romantic humanized vampire theme. Again, we don’t have to like that series, but it did have a new take on vampires. Here, the zombies are minions of a ginormous (really Firefox? Yet you red underline teleport yet that’s actually a word unlike ginormous, I really don’t understand you) dragon.
Yep. First 30 levels or so is fun… new zones, mobs, and NPCs. After that you see nothing but Risen. I wonder how those annoying mobs in Orr feel when I reflect their pull ._.
