Guild Wars 2

I witnessed something unusual last night in WvWvW. In the borderland lake there was a floating ‘ball’ of players under the lake, mostly rangers from the number of shark pets. They were just clustered together and constantly killing krait that kept swimming by under the water.

They did not have the usual, random-letter bot names (dfhjkdsf etc) and some belonged to guilds. I thought it might have been an event and joined in for a bit but there didn’t seem to be any purpose in terms of WvWvW.

Perhaps it was just simply a group who decided to grind but I was wondering if anyone else had seen something like this? Are the gold farmers getting smarter and making real names for bots and even making them into guilds or were these just legit players doing some grinding?

I’ve seen these as well. At least on the server I saw them, they were bots.

Normal players bot as well as gold farmers. I am not shocked, hell, even if these were alt accounts, by the time they bots were banned the owners made more gold than if they actually bought 50 dollars worth of gems legitimately then converted them to gold.

Could they be hacked accounts also or has that really happened yet?

I love hitting the lake and killing the gold farmers. Its free badges and you get a sense of enjoyment of it.
