Gw2 is a masterpiece at it’s foundation. Content-wise however…

I ran across something that seem to be a Jumping Puzzle – or atleast something that once was meant to be one.
It’s in the northeast corner of Fields of Ruins in an area called “Tanglerot Hills”.
It starts at “Rosko’s Campsite”. You climb up the stairs in that camp, run past the Black bears and then jump on some stone-pillars. Then you jump onto the mountain-side where there’s a very clear path to follow (in the usual JP-setting) and even a wooden staircase, a hut with some doodads and a campfire!
After that it seems like you are meant to proceed onto the roof of 2 Harpy-nests, as there are some conveniently placed branches. Although, when I’m on top of the 2nd Harpy-nest, I’ve no idea where to go.

It’s not a jumping puzzle, there’s no chest, no achievement and nothing else that could qualify as an ‘end point’. Not far beyond that point the path runs out and you have to go back to ground level.
But I had the exact same thought when I first saw it. I even ‘gave in’ and went to the wiki thinking I must have missed the next part of the path because I was so sure it was a puzzle.

Hm, yeah. Since there’s no achievement I suppose that it’s not a JP. But an actual endpoint is quite possible though; There are areas with chests lying around – some of which I think could be descibed as tiny jumping-puzzles.
I agree that there are difficult to reach chests which could count as mini jumping puzzles, and that if a chest was added to this one it would also qualify.
What I meant is that currently there is no chest there, or an achievement or anything else that would mark it as a jumping puzzle (or even a mini puzzle) rather than simply another bit of climbable scenery.
I succeeded to continue from the tree to the hill. It is basically border of the map. You may round the whole valley to the skill point at east. I did not check every corner. Take mesmer or two with you
The trees up there are plain billboard trees. That indicates that player should not be there. After this I give a try to climping at top of the Modniir hills; see other thread here. I think these enriches the game; something to do. And I thank Anet for placing collision models under these border hills; never know when the next step drops through the terrain.
