I’ve been away from the game for almost two weeks. I logged in tonight to a new patch.

And I can’t stay alive for more than five minutes now.

I don’t know what’s going on, what changed or why, but I seriously died five times in ten minutes to things that are lower level than me.

I’m relatively well-equipped, and I’m trying to complete a map that’s 10 levels below me; I’m reduced to level 17 in an area fighting level 16 enemies and they are kicking my teeth in.

I’m really not having fun.

I’m two weeks rusty and I can’t take a solo level 16 mob when I’m capped at level 17 and wearing all green gear that is no more than 3 levels below my own level.

Seriously, they’re hitting me for half my health in one hit. And I’m buffed.

What gives???

That’s hilarious to be honest.
If it’s really that difficult, why don’t you see if you can
get someone to help you a bit. If you were on my server I might.

We can’t give an insightful reply cause we have no idea. Yes, some things were changed.

What class are you?
What spec are you playing as?
What gear are you using?

Do you really expect anyone to help you without context? What class? What build? What gear? What mobs were you fighting?

What things’re killin’ ya? For some reason the animals in this game are way tougher than the monsters. Why, I was in the Harathi Hinterlands yesterday an’ where I could take 3-4 Centaurs at once and whoop ’em good, 2 coyotes would feed me my teeth.

Well I’m not sure about this but after this last patch I could swear the condition damage has increased or my armor is less, not sure but seems like I am taking more damage, especially poison, wow it seems to do massive damage. I am talking using my guardian, I don’t know about other classes.

I have not noticed any major changes in mob behavior or effectiveness. That said, there are a few mobs that hurt more than others. Some of the imps can take half your health in one hit if you don;t dodge their swoop attack.
