So I was gonna resume the crafting of Ambrite weapons, since I’m about 1/2 way done with the achievement.. (I’m @ about 8 or 9 of 16 so far,) … and can’t seem to get any more Unidentified Fossilized Insect’s to drop from the Drytop Chests anymore….

I know they are random drops from the buried locked chests… but come on now….. I’ve burned through almost 200 Zeph lockpicks now (over the last couple months) and not a single insect to be had…

Have they been removed from game?? Or are they “RNG-Bugged” from appearing?? Or has the drop rate just been seriously nerfed to hell now????

I got mine from pvp, so that’s always an option if you want a guaranteed drop

I’ve never had one drop, so you’re luck incarnate compared to me.

They were always slightly rare. I’ve only ever had one drop for me.

Finally got one last week(wasn’t trying) but yeah if you really want to finish the collection then get them through the PvP reward track.

I need one more for the collection. Have a ranger camped in Dry Top full time and do the events two or three times a day and open maybe 4 chests each time. Been nearly a month since the last one and no end in sight. Just one more, O Fickle RNGod!

Do the PvP reward track. Just from that I got an unidentified fossilized insect once a week.
