So once upon a time, I was talking to my gf.
She was telling me she wanted a costume for her cat.
I was like, eehhh that’s nice.
And then she’s all like, “I want the kitten costume”
and I was all like, “Dannngg girl no need to get upset about it”

and then I realized what happened.

The word “Kitten” has been tainted now.

lol I know what you mean.

I caught myself using it instead of cussing while talking to a couple coworkers earlier, and boy did I get a couple of interesting looks, which required me to then explain, which made them laugh.
