Guild Wars 2

So I have the Mad Memoires: Complete Edition. I transmute that skin with the new wardrobe system and it loses the flavor text that is unique to the item and frankly helps make the item. This is very disappointing. I love that I can use the skin multiple times, but the loss of this flavor text is very disheartening.

Anybody else run into these types of issues? I’d think it would be easy enough to copy the text over with the skin. Hoping this is just an oversight bug.

This seems to have happened to all transmuted items. Keep the skin but now just display whatever generic thing they were transmuted onto’s name and lose any flavor text. Very disappointing.

Oh, geeze, I’m glad you posted about this. I’ve been wearing my unmodified Mad Memories: Complete Edition since I got it, since I haven’t been able to afford/obtain a Celestial backpiece to transmute it on. If the flavor text goes, I think I’d rather just continue to take a hit on stats.

Yeah, I was planning to transmute the skin onto an ascended backpiece, but since I had a better exotic now I went ahead and used the skin. Almost destroyed the original when I noticed the flavor was gone. Would hate to lose it forever. Hopefully Ante notices this is a problem and fixes it (shouldn’t be too hard I don’t think and I believe the old transmutation copied this stuff). If they don’t I’ll unfortunately have to do like you and go with less optimal stats
