I have looked on all kinds of databases and I cannot find a Focus that looks anything like the chimeric prism from the hall of monuments. I realize this is a unique art but has anyone found anything similar? Specifically just any focus that doesn’t need to be held by a handle but rather more free floating like a bracelet.

Ya that was a the most I’ve ever been disappointed in the art team in this game. GW1 had a redonk amount of junk you could hold as a focus. Fans, beer mugs, floaty gems, even the Factions voodoo doll.

Check Mystic Forge Recipes. There are quite a few Focus item cosmetics hiding in there.

Currently, I don’t mind my Verdant Focus on my Sylvari, but I am eyeing the Flux Matrix and saving up mats for it instead. Or possibly Courage after being an Order of Whisper’s member that ended up getting drunk on a mission.

Yeah I was going to say there are TONS of focus recipes for the Mystic Forge. More so than any other weapon type right now. I think most of them have unique art associated with them and quite a few are for sale on the trading post.

Of course they aren’t going to make one that looks like the HOM skin. The whole point of the HOM stuff is that it is unique.

Ty for the imput Passive Aggressive however my concern is not about finding an item just like the HoM focus. Just that there is a lack of variety in weapon models especially prior to level 80. I would be perfectly satisfied with a bracelet made of say… lightning circling around. Perhaps make a variety where you have blue fire, red fire and bubbling water for the guardians and elementalists out there. Could even go along the route of a bracelet of bones with green and black energy swirling around it for necromancers. While I think Arenanet does a good job of detail in their art, the game lacks variety and many choices of appearances.
