Apparently, universal isn’t universal enough when it comes to backpacks. I looked through the wiki because SOMEONE didn’t bother to label what upgrades the backpacks took. I figured nothing was specific to it so i would have to use an universal one. Apparently i can’t use a crest of the soldier in the stupid backpack but i could pick it as a mod. It wasn’t -universal- enough for the heavy thinkers. God knows they will never go back on a decision or admit they’re wrong though. Fixing stuff is against their principles or something.

So yeah… Everyone, you have to use an unrefined gemstone in the backpacks. Cuz

Are you talking about the crafting profession backpacks? If so the reason you can’t put your crest on is because the crest is level 80 and the backpack is level 78. Otherwise I’m pretty sure you put the level 80 crest onto a level 80 item. Could be wrong on this of course.
