Let’s say I’m an engineer which means I wear medium armour, I want to use the skin of the cof light helmet skin instead of the medium helmet armour skin. Is it possible that I unlock the light armour skin and use it?

I don’t think that’s possible. Each armor weight has it’s own set of skins. You can add those skins to your account’s wardrobe by simply salvaging them (in this case there may just be an add to wardrobe in the right click menu) but it can only be applied to other light armor.

No. Armor types are locked to the light/medium/heavy classes. It’s not like Rift where plate armor uses (warriors) can use the mail/leather/cloth armors. My warrior in Rift uses the armor skin of a cloth user because I think it looks nice. My mage in that game cannot wear anything other than cloth, even as a skin.

Aw that sucks, me personally think most of the medium armour does not look great.im currently a lvl 20 asuna engineer, the only gear I’m looking for are dungrnon armours
