Unreachable parts of map?

I’ve noticed that there are unreachable, always blurred areas of the map. One area that is very big and noticeable is to the left of Lions Arch. I’m not sure if it’s possible to go there but I’ve tried numerous times and it seems impossible. I’ve also noticed that if there’s water on the map and you want to swim from say, one island to another, you are sometimes impeded from doing so by a “strong current.” To me, and let me preface this by saying, it’s really not that big a deal, but it somewhat takes away from the realism of the game. Has anyone else noticed this?

An MMO is comprised of regions typically referred to as Zones. Each zone has a hard edge to it, that edge may not always be represented digitally with a physical facsimile. Areas of the map that are blurred don’t actually exist, it’s not that you can’t get to them, it’s that there’s literally nothing there as it’s outside the created zones. Hope that helps!
