Unsoulbind suggestion
Could you look into unsoulbinding deleted characters items? I got some stuff in my bank I don’t want to throw away and could use on another character but it’s soulbound to a deleted character from 3 years ago.
Contact support with a list of the items and see if they can help you.

The only thing I can imagine you would need to do this for is a precursor that you accidentally soulbound before deleting a character, everything else should have easily been regained after three years of even the most casual of playing.
