Unspoken Curse sword skin
Are you just trying to raise the price of it?
No. What would the point of it be? It would have to raise tons to make it worth crafting it gold per skillpoint wise.
There are already much better options ( http://gw2sp2g.herokuapp.com/ )
I dunno about anyone else, but I use it on my Charr Warrior. It suits his T3 Cultural and Vigil Shield perfectly. (Another neat personal thing is that it’s the same sword skin I used to use back in GW1, so my RP backstory is that this is the same sword used by my GW1 Warrior, given to my Charr as a gift by my Human Mesmer.)
Some of us prefer blondes?
Anyway… I like this skin much better: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Naegling
It’s ok but I prefer my Flaming Dragon Sword.
I considered it, since it is a skin from GW1 prophecies, but then I noticed my character held it by- practically- the pommel…
Really? The pommel? I blame the ridiculous, though accurate to GW1, size of the cross guard. I’d rather have more handle sticking out the bottom of my grip if I’m gonna wield a hand-and-a-half sword, kinda like Narsil in Lord of the Rings. Perhaps I just don’t notice how I hold all the other swords, but this is just my opinion of the weapon.
It looked like my character was wielding some sort of Adams Family rattle with a long blade attached to it.

Naegling is a greatsword. This is a 1h sword with a similar design. So I am not sure what you are trying to say with this post.
Because the silly scimitar exists! I also love the Sovereign Spatha and Crystalline Blade.

He’s saying just because you like it doesn’t mean everyone else does. If almost nobody uses that skin then it’s because people like other skins more than it.
Your right! My bad… I thought the one you were talking about was a greatsword.
Anyway, my point was that we all like different skins… greatsword or not.
Its an OK skin, but I’m not really all that into the dark, skull-adorned skins in general. And it wouldn’t fit the themes of any of my sword users (Mesmer = flashy particle effects, Ranger = nature vs technology, Guardian = crystals).
On my warrior i look for a long sword that isnt bulky or flashy, so i took ceremonial swords . It also fits my armor combination

+1…..love the GW1 look and the fact that it cost me nothing to apply (besides playing GW1 back in the day). It also makes dark areas a breeze….
Fate is just the weight of circumstances
That’s the way that lady luck dances
Btw. Anyone using dual silly scimitars?

Not me, I have so many skins unlocked that I already have a hard time to decide what to use next
Bc unspoken curse is fugly while my fractal sword is amazing. I wish i could get flaming dragon sword tho.
I don’t really care for the skull/batwing type look myself. For a GS, I use the Fellblade from HoM skins. One handed really depends on what I feel like staring at for a bit.
I like the blade but the crossguard (the wings) are entirely too big. That would be why, in my case.
Why does almost noone use the Unspoken Curse sword skin (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Unspoken_Curse)?
I feel like it looks pretty good while not being outrageously expensive.
Ah, the old-fashioned Flamberge. I had one back in GW1.
The real reason no one uses it…. look at it what it costs to make. 300 Ori ingots + 100 Destroyer Lodestones + 50 skill points for a sword with no visual bling. I’ve got multiple better uses for those kind of resources.
