There are people hating me for some reason, i don’t know why, but they keep spamming me to madness.
Once i block & report them, they somehow manage to override it, so they keep spamming messages to me. They change character, or account name, i don’t know how, but it works.

I can’t bear this, can’t use the chat for what i want, can’t read what my friends say, it’s just all full of whispers from people harassing me with unknown letters, that i didn’t even know it’s possible to type in the chat..

Please help me! Seriously! They make me turn of the whole chat panel, thus i cannot communicate with anyone else neither.

Recently they tend to find me on Say and Map chats too. They are chasing me i’m afraid.

It’s probably not the same account doing it. It’s probably multiples.

There is. That’s why they change each message slightly (adding random letters or numbers) and switch between map and whispers.

What if i could only get PMs from friends, spvp allies/enemies, guild mates, wvw allies, etc?

The only work around I can think of at the moment is to untick whispers in your main chat tab. Then either invite your friends into your party or add them all into one guild and chat to them via guild/party chat.

I have had to disable whispers from time to time due to gold seller whispers.

I really do hope they can fix this problem soon because chatting with whispers enables is getting frustrating as hell. And I shouldn’t have to turn this, often useful, feature off because of some bottom hat.

This is getting rather annoying, seeing as it happens in instances also. I have just been switching to a different chat tab with whisper not checked on it. Then again i have to randomly swap to the whisper channel to see if any actual friends whispered me. It’s not even the old messages anymore where its barley noticeable, now they make the each single message take up the entire chat log box with squares and whatever. Do something…
