Guild Wars 2

So i was playing this morning and logged off. When i tried to log on it started to update and it has been downloading since early this morning but i cant find anything about a patch coming out today? If one did how big is it?

Could be for the PvP beta test

Mine doesn’t have an update. The last update notes was on April 7th.

Did you happen to change the language on your game?

No i didnt change the language i dont know why its doing this its not making any progress ill just reinstall the game

How about simply restarting the launcher instead of going crazy and reinstalling the whole meaty bunch of data? It’s usually enough.

There have been cases where for whatever reason, the launcher would continuously download garbage data. If left unattended, it could basically redownload the entire game. This could be a problem with the launcher itself, a corrupted Gw2.dat file or a problem involving ISPs due to GW2 patching over port 80 (some ISPs like to optimize port 80 for HTTP traffic).

You can use the -repair command for the first two problems or a VPN to counter any ISP related problems.

I have restarted the launcher and my computer that did not help.
