After reward tracks in PvP were implemented, the XP, heroic, and celebration/birthday boosters were all updated to add bonus progress to PvP reward tracks. However, when WvW reward tracks were added, the XP and heroic boosters were changed but the celebration/birthday boosters were not. I think it would be a fair addition to update those boosters with a WvW reward track boost as well.

I think all XP boosters need to be modded to give at least a WXP gain, as there is acutally no XP gain in WvW. Reward tracks should be a standard too, to be consistent with the XP booster.

XP booster grants experience gain in all game modes, it includes WXP.
“A new Experience Booster is now available that grants 50% additional experience from all sources and game types, including WvW and PvP reward tracks, and gives a killstreak bonus on enemy NPCs.” – Patch Notes.

Agree with OP, it needs correcting. Pretty sure the lack of WvW track boost is a bug, but definitely an oversight.

I’m pretty sure even tho it doesnt say it it does grant reward track xp i’ve tested it with and without and i’ve gotten + track xp with it on.
