Technically speaking, many people paid $60 for that gear and now we’re being charged to equip it as a cosmetic. You guys can make your money, but take a tip from Trion and design more cosmetic gear at a fair price. Don’t charge more for what we’ve already purchased.

5 free transmutations? There are 6 pieces of armor which don’t include weapons… It’s insulting really. It’s like selling a bike with 1 wheel and charging extra to get the second wheel…

-Spider is no longer an elite

This could have been a step in the right direction, but it’s negative. Removing 1 elite from a the train runs in queensdale shows something you’re taking AWAY from the community. Oddly enough, a better move would be to keep the spider, but incorporate more events that spawns these champions so players can actually earn the experience and gear they’re receiving rather than repeating the same runs and effortlessly killing these champions. This train run needs more adjustments that encourages and forces more teamwork and more steps in order to take on these champions because they’re anything but “champions”

A good thing. Thanks for that. Now, allow us to wear the armor we’ve created in the wardrobe. Or at least allow us to wear them as “town clothes” which require no transmutation.

I appreciate this. Haven’t experienced a larger community since it’s obviously still early, but definitely a step in the right direction and I’m looking forward to the boost of activity. The problem with this is a lot of people are going to be doing train runs. Train runs need a major adjustment because after 1-15 zones, it gets empty. Please, do something to push people into other areas. Perhaps creating random “WANTED:” posters that send players to fight off champions in other zones and veterans for solo players.

I love guild wars and I love that it’s free to play, but take some tips from Trion/RIFT when it comes to cosmetics and wardrobes. They’re obviously making major bank off of it while the gem store is just crazy expensive. You’ll make more money with low prices. Though, I am happy not everyone is running around beating their drums. Some things are set at an okay price.

I was hoping they’d take some tips from LOTRO because that game was awesome when it comes to wardrobes but I’m okay with this. I do however agree with the measely five free transmutations tho, they could have done better with that considering the number of slots.

I’m cheesed on the transmutations. I just bought the game (long time fan of the original GW) and I gotta say, this patch irks me.

I spent $10 real money to keep my Krytan armor that I got as a bonus as my PvE set until 80. I had 36 transmutation stones, allowing me to replace 6 SETS! What do I have now? 12… well 17… still.. just under 3 sets… can maybe go til 40 until I’m forced to spend more money! I spent that $10 because I wanted to keep my cosmetikittenil level 80… but no regard for the newb who isn’t thinking an immediate level 80 mindset when purchasing gems!

Thanks ANet, last time I throw away my money at you guys. This game should be ashamed to call itself “Guild Wars”. Absolute highway robbery.
